In true 2020 fashion, circumstances changed quickly for SVP as we approached our last wedding of the year. I had an unexpected COVID exposure the weekend before and we collectively made the hard decision to sit me out on Bayley and Samuel’s big day. I was completely heartbroken. Despite the constant feeling of disappointment, I was excited for Caroline to shine at her first wedding without me. We were ready for this. We have been working hard all year to provide our couples with our high-standard of services while keeping everyone safe. From wearing masks to always have a backup plan, we were ready. Alongside fellow photographer and dear friend, Nancy; Caroline represented SVP and captured this amazing couple’s day in my absence. I couldn’t be more proud of these amazing ladies!
Bayley and Samuel were married at the Summerall Chapel at The Citadel on December 12, 2020. It was literally a fairy tale, from sword arches to glowy portraits on The Citadel lawn. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for the new Mr. and Mrs. Colt! After portraits, they celebrated their nuptials at Harborside East in Mt. Pleasant overlooking the Charleston Harbor. Stunning views, cake, dancing, and a vintage Bently to ride away in… I’d call that a success! Sending all my love to Bayley and Samuel and thank you for trusting us to capture your wedding in 2020!
Wishing Bayley + Samuel all the happiness in the world!
Special thanks to all the wonderful vendors who helped create their perfect day!
