We couldn’t think of a better way to begin our 2021 wedding season than with Kelly and Cory’s magical spring engagement session at the beautiful Hampton Park. With 2020 behind us, the fresh blooms, sun shining through the Spanish moss, and contagious smiles are exactly what we needed!

Kelly and Cory met over seven years ago at the University of Nevada, Reno. Originally from Nevada, the couple recently moved to Greenville, South Carolina where they made the most of their east coast transition during COVID. Despite the drastic lifestyle change, the pair is loving southern living and are looking forward to their Charleston wedding this June at Wild Dunes Resort.

Now let’s get to the real question! How did Cory pull off a true surprise proposal, during COVID, to his girlfriend of almost 7 years?! Knowing that making any special plans during a pandemic would give him away, Cory selected a random weekday and waited to surprise Kelly when she came home from work. Balloons, flowers, and memories lead Kelly to Cory’s home office space where he was waiting with a ring. Just another day at the office ended up being one of the best days of their lives!

Fast forward and here we are capturing all that love at a blooming park in downtown Charleston. From Kelly’s laugh to Cory’s longing looks, this session was the warmest spring season welcome. We can not wait to do it all over again this summer!
