A Beautiful Life, Thoughtfully Preserved in

Some of life's most meaningful photographs are not the ones we share for a season, but the ones we return to every day. They hang in our homes, quietly becoming part of our family's story—reminding us where we've been, who we love, and the moments that shaped us. That belief has guided Southern Vintage Photography since 2014 and continues to inspire every image I create.

I'm JacquelineClark

For more than a decade, I've had the privilege of documenting weddings and portraits throughout Charleston and the Lowcountry. While photography has always been my profession, family is my passion.

HELLO + WELCOME

One of my most treasured photographs is a black-and-white image of my grandparents on their wedding day. They aren't posing for the camera. They're laughing around their reception table, sharing an ordinary moment that became extraordinary simply because someone preserved it. That photograph reminds me that the images we value most aren't always the perfectly posed ones—they're the ones that bring us back to a feeling.

Today, my approach blends elegant tradition with thoughtful artistry. Alongside timeless portraits that will be cherished for generations, I look for the quiet, unscripted moments that reveal the heart of a celebration. I also believe the places we gather become part of our story. Charleston's historic streets, sweeping marshes, and coastal light aren't simply backdrops—they become part of the artwork itself. Just as you might display a beautiful landscape painting in your home, I love creating portraits that celebrate both the people you love and the place where your story unfolded.

One of the greatest privileges of this work is watching stories continue long after the wedding day.

Many of the couples who first invite me into one of life's most meaningful celebrations return years later as they welcome children, celebrate anniversaries, and gather generations together.

It is an honor to create photographs that grow alongside your family—artwork that isn't simply admired, but lived with, shared, and cherished for years to come.
