What better way to compliment a proposal in Italy than with an engagement session in Charleston. It doesn’t get more romantic than that! (Oh, and this couple is currently stationed in Savannah while they await their wedding day… so jealous!)
When I first spoke with this bride-to-be it was on an overseas Zoom call. She told me all about how she was living in Northern Italy while her fiancé, a Citadel graduate, was stationed there for 6 months. After hiking up a mountain (unknowingly with a ring in her backpack), he asked, she answered, and the rest was history!
Meet Bayley and Sam, everyone! It was so wonderful meeting this couple in person on what had to have been the most perfect day! They were all smiles and complete naturals in front of the camera as we strolled down East Bay Street for pictures. Their appreciation for cities with a rich history was evident but made even more sense when they told me about Bayley’s engagement ring. One diamond is from Sam’s mother’s engagement ring, while the other is from his grandmother’s. Now that is THE perfect “something borrowed!”
Bayley and Sam will tie the knot on December 12, 2020, in the Summerall Chapel at The Citadel. I can not be more excited to spend another day with these two as they celebrate their love with friends and family.
