Hello, friends! It’s been a wild year so far and quite some time since we’ve blogged. Our photoshoots have finally picked back up and we are now adjusting to the new “normal.” I am so inspired by our brides’ strength and hopefulness during this time. We have a handful of new couples planning weddings for 2021 and it is just the momentum we need to get through this. We are excited to celebrate and share with you the first of many, Taylor and Will!
After months of not being able to shoot due to COVID, we were finally able to roam around downtown Charleston again. We eagerly had a date set in May for Taylor and Will’s engagement portraits. By the time the session day rolled around, Mother Nature had different plans for us. We had to reschedule about 3 or 4 times to get that sunny glow Taylor and I both desired. Finally, on June 18th, the most beautiful thing happened. We had THE perfect day! Sunny skies, cool weather, and the most wonderful couple to enjoy it with! We strolled down Rainbow Row, made a stop at White Point Gardens, then finished our portraits at The Battery.
Tayor and Will met during their freshman year at the University of South Carolina. Little did they know that a football game romance would turn into a proposal at a future Homecoming game! These USC fans now reside in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, and are planning their dream wedding at the Boone Hall Cotton Docks on June 12, 2021.
