I had the pleasure of spending both the rehearsal dinner and wedding day with this couple and it was an absolute honor to witness their love and commitment to each other. I recall telling this bride how stunning her smile was, but also how it changed when she was smiling with her groom. The light in her eyes just gleamed when they were together. And if that doesn’t touch your soul… the emotional tributes to passed family members and the intricate ways they celebrated their lives will tug at your heartstrings.
Caroline and Christian were married on April 4th, 2024 (Caroline’s parents’ wedding anniversary) at The Island House on Johns Island, South Carolina. Accompanied by waterfront views and their golden retriever, Maverick, the happy couple said “I do” in front of their friends and family. To conclude the ceremony, the wedding party and guests shared a toast with a Heineken, the bride’s late father’s favorite beer, before proceeding down the aisle to begin forever. After portraits, they were greeted by a live band and a romantic first dance as the sun set over the Stono River… does it get any dreamier than that?!
