When Bailey told me she first met Bret on a bench outside of an ice cream shop, I imagined it being like a scene from a Pixar movie: animated and full of life. Little did I know that was exactly what I would get from Bailey and Bret during their downtown engagement session!
It was a bit chillier than I’d like, but Bailey’s “beauty is pain” attitude was no match for the cold. I am pretty sure the more we laughed the warmer it got anyways!
Bret’s determination to take great photos had to be my favorite part. He had a lot of fun with the poses (more than he’d probably admit), but also knew how important these photos were to Bailey. It was the sweetest thing! He took this session seriously and gave me a great prompt to share with my other couples: “Hold her hand and follow her like she is taking you into her favorite store!” Thanks, Bret! In this case, Hobby Lobby and Target were some of the contenders.
Bailey and Bret will be getting married in the Cedar Room, downtown Charleston on Dec. 20th, 2019. We are beyond excited to continue capturing their love story and all the laughter that goes with it.
