It all started with “I do” in a beautiful white church with Charleston history dating back to 1682. This sacred ceremony was followed by a reception hosted in an early 19th-century social hall. Fast forward to 2024 when a lovely couple promised each other forever surrounded by God and all the history the Lowcountry has to offer.

Rachel and Davis were married on June 22, 2024, at First Baptist Church on Church Street, downtown Charleston, South Carolina. They took their first steps together as husband and wife down the aisle, out the church doors, and through the streets as they made their way to the reception followed by their guests and a 4-piece brass band. As this private parade arrived at South Carolina Society Hall, attendees were greeted by an intimate cocktail hour and glorious ballroom decorated by the very talented Mother-of-the-bride.

As the summer sun began to set, we captured stunning portraits of the bride and groom before the official celebrations began. From a romantic first dance with lifts and dips to a choregraphed father/daughter dance, this reception reflected the true joy Rachel and Davis share.
