It was all about the Spanish Moss and that coastal breeze on Brooke and McNeal’s wedding day. This Lowcountry couple was married at 5:15pm on 5/15 beside the water, surrounded by friends and family at their first home together. While the setting was absolutely stunning, the emotional moments sprinkled throughout the day made this wedding complete. From a “First Look” with Dad and wedding day letters, to incorporating the flower girls into their first dance; it is probably safe to say there were plenty of happy tears.
I met Brooke for the first time at a quaint little coffee shop in downtown Beaufort (It felt like a place out of a Hallmark movie). I admired her love for the Lowcountry and immediately knew we’d be a great match. Oyster shells, dreamy oak trees, and a vintage getting-ready venue… Brooke had it all seamlessly worked into her and McNeal’s wedding day. She even put that southern charm into her high school sweetheart’s groom gift with a Brackish bow tie to incorporate his love for the outdoors. Brooke and McNeal put so much love and thought into every detail and constantly put each other and their guests first. They treated their company to local favorites like fried green tomatoes and mac n’ cheese at their Beaufort Inn reception then danced the night away. That is what I call a southern soirée! From the Lowcountry touches to Brooke and McNeal’s love of life and each other, their wedding day was an absolute dream. We are so thankful to be a part of their special day!
Wishing Brooke + McNeal all the happiness in the world!

Steve and I were honored to host this wedding. Out of this bloomed the idea to offer the site for future events. Stay tuned for McCalleys Creek Event Retreat. We may be biased but it was the most beautiful ceremony we’ve attended. Thank you to Brooke and McNeal for helping to spark the idea. We wish you all the happiness in your marriage. Inquiries for future events can be sent to mccalleyscreekeventretreat@gmail.com.
PS These photos are absolutely gorgeous and capture the day beautifully!
